Alectinib

Alectinib is a cancer medicine used to treat a specific type of lung cancer called ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is sold under the brand name Alecensa.

How It Works

Who Uses It

Doctors prescribe Alectinib for adults with ALK-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, especially when the cancer has spread or when other treatments didn’t work. Alectinib may also be used after surgery in some cases.

How It Is Taken

• Alectinib is taken by mouth (oral tablets).
