Description
Pazeqol 200mg Tablet is a prescription medication containing the active ingredient Pazopanib. Pazopanib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that works by blocking the activity of certain proteins (tyrosine kinases) that are involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. By inhibiting these proteins, Pazeqol helps to slow down or stop the growth of tumors and can also prevent the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors with nutrients. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) and advanced soft tissue sarcoma in adult patients who have previously received chemotherapy. The typical dosage is 800mg once daily, taken on an empty stomach. Common side effects may include diarrhea, hypertension, hair color changes, nausea, and fatigue. Patients should inform their doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, especially liver or heart problems, and all other medications they are taking. Pazeqol should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
