Description

Darbitop 60 mcg Injection contains darbepoetin alfa, a synthetic form of erythropoietin used to treat anemia. It is commonly prescribed for anemia caused by chronic kidney disease or chemotherapy.

Darbitop helps stimulate bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, improving oxygen delivery to tissues and reducing symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.

This medicine is administered under medical supervision.

Uses of Darbitop 60 mcg Injection

Darbitop is indicated for:

  • Anemia associated with chronic kidney disease

  • Anemia caused by chemotherapy in cancer patients

  • Reduction of blood transfusion requirements in certain patients

Treatment decisions are based on hemoglobin levels and clinical condition.

How Darbitop Works

Darbepoetin alfa, which acts similarly to natural erythropoietin produced by the kidneys, is contained in Darbepoetin.

It stimulates red blood cell production in the bone marrow, helping increase hemoglobin levels over time.

Response to therapy is monitored through regular blood tests.
